Shopping at USCamera These pages are designed for new shoppers at USCamera.com and to address several common questions I have answered over the years. I will also show you how to place an order. For questions about shipping only you may go here. Now for the shopping Cart. It is really very easy to use. I have assumed that you have found the part you wanted so I have picked the Kodak C530 battery cover for the sample shopping purchase. If you would like to use this page for your sample, to follow along, go here. 99.99% of the shopping purchase pages very similar to the one below. Generally the most popular USA and International shipping choices used are listed just below the "Add to Cart" button. Please note that other shipping choices are available. More information on that in just a bit.

Only 4 fields of this form need to be adjusted or checked by you and then you can purchase the item. #1 Item and Quantity. Displayed is the item you are buying listed with the quantity and price. You may change the # of battery covers by entering the number you would like to purchase and clicking the "Change" button. Then the price and quantity will update. #2 Sales Tax. If you live in Colorado you must check the Sales tax box so Colorado State sales tax can be automatically computed on the price of the merchandise only. #3 Shipping Choice. You must change the shipping or accept the default of USPS Express Mail for $22.00. Looking at the screen image below, you may expand the shipping "drop down menu" and see all of the available shipping choices by clicking on the small down arrow. 7 choices apply to US customers and 6 choices apply to International customers. The Download is also listed as a shipping selection. A shipping choice must be made or the shopping cart will not let you complete the sale.
USA Shipping choices are really easy. First let me say the #1 error made in shipping is with customers who purchase more than 1 item. The minimum shipping charge in the USA for 2 or more items is $5.50. Single Sets do not count, such as the terminal cover sets for Nikon. Multiple Items, the listed choices are, $ 5.50 One Large Part / LCDs / Multiple Small Parts / Accessories USPS 1st Class. Average transit time 3 - 10 days (US Only) $ 7.50 All Single Parts Large Small / Multiple Parts - Accessories / Tools Priority Mail. Average transit time 2 - 3 days but no guarantee. Also note that Priority Mail USPS delivery confirmation is not tracking and only changes after the parcel has been delivered. $12.00 UPS Ground Shipping. Average transit time 2 - 5 days depending on location. UPS will email tracking information to you so you may follow the progress of your purchase at www.ups.com $22.00 USPS Express - Next Day CDs / MOST Part (US Only). Average transit time 1 - 2 days depending on your location. The USPS will email you with information that can be checked at www.usps.com but in all reality the information doesn't update very often. Please Note. If you want tracking there is only two choices UPS ground shipping or USPS Express Mail shipping. CD, Single part and Light Seal Kit shipping choices are, $ 0.00 Download - No Shipping Charge ... of any available PDF Service Manual or Owners Manual. $ 2.50 Compact Disc Only (700MB) USPS 1st Class (US Only). The only way I will ship orders over $100 USD. I want your order to get there and this is the most dependable and guaranteed way. If you want your purchase insured use this shipping method. Please Note. If you want tracking there is only one choice USPS Insured Registered 1st Class International Mail That's it for shipping. Now we will select one of the 3 payment methods. As you can see by the screen below the drop down menu is expanded for the payment methods available. Secure Online Credit Card Transaction - Accepts Visa and MasterCard and most Debit cards, secure server, standard bank transaction service just as if you were standing at the counter of USCamera and handed us your credit card and we swiped it. PayPal - Accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover Check or Money Orders - Personal or Business Checks drawn on US Banks within the 48 contiguous states. Money Orders Drawn on US Banks payable in US Dollars. IMPORTANT Customers using this payment method need to complete checkout. When you complete the order process all of the data you provide will allow me to make sure the items you ordered will be available when your order is received and accurately print your shipping label.

Using Internet Explorer 7.0 the lock is displayed just to the right of the address bar.
You can see at the top of the form is your customer number and total amount you are charging to your credit or debit card. Fill in the information requested and click the "Submit" button and a page will be displayed stating your order has been accepted. Usually within a few hours, we will receive an email from the Secure server that your payment has been received. Your Order will then be invoiced and shipped within 48 hours. You will receive a shipping confirmation via the email address you provided. Credit Card Approval - Please note that USCamera or our shopping cart has nothing to do whether your purchase is approved or denied. All I can say is every time I have tested the system no errors are returned. The transactions I have manually input with customer supplied information, the transaction was still denied with the message "address input doesn't match cardholder's....transaction request denied". Immediately I input a live test transaction with a real credit card number and address. That transaction was immediately accepted. What I am saying is I would contact your the card issuing bank listed on the back of your card to see if there is a problem with your account.
